Your Outback Challenge Maroc will take place in a totally new context.
Change of dates, more foreign competitors and better prepared vehicles. After three years of experience, the fourth edition of your Outback Challenge looks promising. The "recos" took place to offer you an exceptional competition in the middle of dunes, oueds and trial zones.
Crossing, navigation and stamina will make you vibrate seven lasting days.

Change of date
First novelty, you noted it, is the change of dates of the event. We preferred to postpone in October, to allow non-European competitors (Australians, Americans) to come to confront to the French and European drivers. The competition will thus take place this year from 24 till 30 October 2009.

RV in Morocco
To simplify things, everybody will meet directly in Morocco. Meeting from Friday, October 23rd to Zagora for the technical checks.

More foreign competitors
Australians, Italians, Spanish, Portuguese, Belgians, English and Swiss will participate in the event.

More "challenges"
2009 is a mixture of the previous years with a good dose of challenges but fewer kilometres to join the challenges that in 2007 and 2008.

Categories changes
Big change this year: the end of the category " Team " and the creation of two new categories : "modified production" and an "open class".

Objective conviviality
You know it, if we come to this competition, it is on one hand "to sweat" but it is also (and especially ?), to spend an exceptional moment between passionate persons. And this year more than the others, we bet on the conviviality. That is why we chose to develop the race around a unique bivouac. A kind of compromise between a confortable hotel and a basic campsite in the middle of nowhere. It will also allow everyone to live closer during the race. Friends, family, sponsors, all will meet with the pilots everynight in Zagora.
